RACC had the privilege to be part of constructing several milestone projects in Jordan in various fields, including buildings, infrastructure and landscaping, industrial, earthworks and some other challenging fields.

Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency School

The project is targeting 26 schools in Al Karak, Al Tafilah and Al Shoubak within Jordan Renewable Energy & Energy Efficiency Fund’s (JREEEF) program scope.

The main objective of this project is to provide comfortable environments into schools’ classrooms including space heating, hot water and lighting levels and to reduce the energy bills for schools buildings through implementing energy saving recommendations and renewable energy solutions.

The scope of the project is Design, Supply, Install, commission and maintenance the following components at several schools:

  • Component 1: Photovoltaic System: supply, installation, commissioning after grid connection and maintenance for 430 KWp.
  • Component 2: Lighting System: supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance for 11191 units.
  • Component 3: Split air conditioners system: supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance for 912 units.
  • Component 4: Solar thermal system: supply, installation, commissioning and maintenance for 11 systems 180 Liter.
  • Component 5: Walls Thermal Insulations: supply, installation and commissioning for 2 schools (2280 m2).
  • Component 6: General Maintenance: including all necessary civil works for school buildings to upgrade the building efficiency.
Energy Efficiency in Public Buildings

The scope of work of this Project includes the design, supply, construction and maintenance a total of 191 schools of the Ministry of Education Buildings that have been selected for the installation of Energy Saving measures as follows:

  • Install Photovoltaic Systems with a total capacity of 1474 kwp on a total area of 10,00m2 including design, shading simulation, annual solar yield calculation, Supply, grid impact assessment and installation of all necessary components for the operation of the system including the tie in with the existing electrical panel boards, and all necessary modifications.
  • Energy Monitoring Systems.
  • Replacing 70,000 conventional and inefficient lighting fixtures with new high-tech LED fixtures.
  • Performing general maintenance for buildings including all necessary civil works.
  • Design, supply and install of steel structure systems in various car parks and rooftops to support the PV system.
Aqaba Oil Terminal Development

The Aqaba oil terminal is one of Jordan’s national infrastructure priorities. This rehabilitation project is vital for the terminal to increase the handling capacity. The oil terminal is an important element in the country’s long-term economic growth, as it is the sole source for energy security.

The oil terminal is located on the south shore of Aqaba, next to the LPG terminal that was recently executed by our company. The main aim of the rehabilitation is to enable the oil terminal to handle approximately 14 million tons of crude oil annually

Aqaba New Liquefied Petroleum Gas Terminal

The project’s goal was constructing a comprehensive permanent terminal, in accordance with the modern operational aspects in the field. The terminal’s purpose is to import LPG in sufficient quantities to meet the kingdom’s needs. The terminal now has up to 25,000 tons of storage capacity, and has an unloading capacity of 300 cubic meters per hour. It is now able to receive large oil vessel.
