Early Disposition Projects of the Dead Sea Development Zone

This project is a major urban development project in Jordan; the main goal of this project is to establish a complete infrastructure urban development zone in the area. Also, the project aims to improve the quality of municipal services, pilot energy efficiency, and seismic resilience retrofits of urban infrastructure.

Scope of Work

1- Urban development activities, consists of construction of public spaces such as plazas, theaters, promenades and accessible beach areas. Including hard and soft landscaping works, as well as urban furniture, and decorative street lighting.

2- Infrastructure systems: sewage network, fresh water network, storm water network, firefighting, telecommunications network, electrical networks & irrigation network.

3- Supply, install test & commission wastewater treatment plant; and pumping station.

4- Construction of public buildings and service facilities.

5- Earth works, synthesis of geosynthetic reinforced soil walls and mats, road networks with public parking areas.

Dead Sea Development Zone Early Disposition Project accelerated Package

Construction of the 1st urban development package (accelerated package) which comprises; roads & water, wastewater, storm water & irrigation utilities within the extent of the promenade.

Street Rehabilitation and Furnishing, Landscaping of Madaba Historic City

The project’s goal was constructing a comprehensive permanent terminal, in accordance with the modern operational aspects in the field. The terminal’s purpose is to import LPG in sufficient quantities to meet the kingdom’s needs. The terminal now has up to 25,000 tons of storage capacity, and has an unloading capacity of 300 cubic meters per hour. It is now able to receive large oil vessel.

Sheikh Hussein Border Center

Sheikh Hussein Border Center is an international border crossing center. The project included the construction of all earth, roads, soil stabilizations, infrastructures and hardscape for the border center.
